Roni's Kitchen

Roni Zaide has been based in Calgary for the past 2 decades and is a vegan chef, food storyteller, author of two cookbooks, and a cooking class instructor at Roni’s Kitchen. She is passionate about sharing nutrient-dense and delicious plant-based recipes and the stories behind them. Roni’s mission is to reconnect people with food, empower them through cooking, and help them feel more comfortable in their own kitchen.

Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) Lethbridge Region is a member-based non-profit organization incorporated in 1982 (formerly known as the Canadian Home Builders Association), that strives to enhance the residential construction industry through local initiatives, partnerships, education and municipal lobbying activities.

Members of BILD Lethbridge are invested in and care about the community they call home. Members understand that being in business is not enough and so are active in the community through a number of initiatives and programs.

Giving Back Through Powerful Partnerships

The Southern Alberta Home, Garden & Leisure Show was thrilled to partner with HALO Air Ambulance for the second consecutive year.

The onsite helicopter display was a major attraction, drawing in crowds eager to learn about HALO’s lifesaving work. Their 50/50 draw was another highlight of the event, generating incredible community support and nearly reaching an impressive $30,000.00 in total winnings.

Who BILDs it Best

Who BILDs it Best is a live building competition for high school students who are enrolled in the dual credit program with the Southern Alberta Collegiate Institute. We can’t wait to support these incredible students again in 2026. More details coming soon!
